Strong Aluminized Metallic Heat Shielding for Radiant Heat

A high temperature and EMI/RDI shielding tape that exhibits outstanding heat reflectivity and thermal stability at extremely high temperatures for short periods of time. The tape is constructed of 1 mil aluminum foil, laminated on 2 mil glass cloth with silicone adhesive.

Backing retains physical properties even after thermal degradation of the silicone adhesive into an insulating layer of silica. It can be used as a radiant heat shield for the protection of electrical control wiring, power cables, and other heat-sensitive devices.
